About
I am a post-doc in Ricard Sole's Complex Systems Lab since 2004. My research is mainly focused in studying the evolution and dynamics of different kinds of Complex Networks, including software systems, networks of patent citations, insect nests and host-phage networks. I am particularly interested in understanding the general cognition processes involved in computer programming and the social dynamics of open-source software teams.
From 2007-2008 I was a post-doc in the group of Prof. Guy Theraulaz at the University of Toulouse (termite nest networks, structure and dynamics of ant tunneling galleries).
I also pursue external collaboration with the group of Prof. Joshua Weitz at Georgia Tech (host-phage networks) and with Prof. Christopher Moore (patent networks) at the Santa Fe Institute.
